We created graphic interfaces and holographic displays for this Chinese sci-fi epic. The work evolved from early conceptual sketches into complex, layered UI designs that reflected the film’s military tone and advanced technology. The goal was to build functional, believable systems that felt both cinematic and grounded in the story’s world.

TITLE DESIGN
Adapted from Jiang Nan’s novel, the title sequence was inspired by humanity’s final defence against an alien invasion. I developed a visual journey that moves from the shield protecting Shanghai to the alien Annihilators, the Mother Ship, and the Holy Vine Crystals. The sequence contrasts the film’s high energy with a calm, atmospheric introduction that sets an emotional tone before the action begins.
